Kalahari Bushmen, Kalahari Hunting Adventure
An African adventure travel to Namibia will never be boring or a waste of time or money. It may be the most adventurous travel you have done in your life - ask Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt ;-))!
You can organize your African travel to this country according to your likes and dislikes. Namibia is a very famous and well-known destination in Africa. This special country offers a lot of options for sight-seeing and adventures.
One option for travellers is to visit the country of Namibia purely with the intention of seeing all its scenic marvels. The beauty, tranquility and peacefulness you will find here... is beyond words. To get some important Namibia Travel Info, click here.
Another option for a lot of outdoorpeople from all over the world, is to go on an African Hunting adventure (an African Safari) to the Kalahari region of Namibia.
This special and unique region (better known as "Kalahari Desert") is the ultimate hunting destination. Antelopes such as gemsbok, springbok, kudu, red hartebeest, eland, impala, etc. can be found here and the Kalahari landscape just adds to the beauty of these animals.
We as a family love nature, animals and the outdoors. It is our passion to receive guests on Uitspan Hunting Ranch and to gently introduce them to the animals, their ways and qualities and in the end: harvesting one or two of the best of what Africa and its veld has to offer for that time.
Hunting is the best way of conservation! This makes it possible for us to keep all these beautiful species of Africa on our ranch - for others to see and experience. Find more info about hunting with us on this page.
Another exceptional, unique adventure you will have when visiting Uitspan Hunting Ranch in Namibia, is to go on an excursion with a Bushmen family. This is a not to miss and indescribable experience and adventure. One previous visitor described this as follows:
"It was a mini cavalcade of Bushmen life... In this 21st century, Bushmen culture is a true anomaly. There’s nothing comparable. And, it is likely the present generation of Bushmen will be the last, as the outside world presses in upon them. There are well-intentioned efforts, such as schools for the young, to help them adjust to the modern world. This no doubt will expose them to the ways of the outside world (food, clothes, handouts) and this will surely dilute and compromise the skills and discipline required for survival in this harsh land.
Thus, we may be among the last to see these remarkable people living as they have lived for thousands of years.... We all agreed that the day was special and that we were indeed fortunate for the experience."

We hope to meet YOU soon in the Kalahari of Namibia!
