What happens when a famly of 9 Iowans all get bit by the traveling bug? Well.....they spread out in all directions and "cover the earth". Sometimes we feel like Sherwin William's paint, which also makes this claim.

Our average family conversations jump from Baku to Beijing to Bethlehem, often baffling any guests who might be present.

It's been a long time since we all packed up and traveled together. Now, it's solo or in two's or three's, but world travel will always be one of the "ties that binds our family together."

We've adopted Mark Twain too, who has shared many our our favorite destinations, and include some of his renditions of globe-hopping.
