With adventure attractions from extreme mountain climbing, river rafting, parasailing, and pretty much everything else related to mountains, jungle, and beach, Peru has it all.

No wonder it has been named recently among the Top Ten travel destinations of the world.

Lots of Archaeological sites

Machu Picchu, the Inca stronghold, is of course the biggest attraction. Also well-known are the mysterious Nazca Lines and the various theories as to their purpose.

But there are literally thousands of other archaeological sites, some developed some not.

Even more Natural Wonders

Of course, the natural wonders rate high on the list of destinations and each has its adventure potential.

For example, the Colca Canyon, deeper than the USA Grand Canyon, is really worth seeing...and the rafting is tops.

And Beaches as well

Do you like the beach? Peru's beaches such as Chicama and Cabo Blanco rate among the top ten surf beaches in the world. And surf lessons are offered for more adventurous ones at many of the beaches.
