Most people stay away from that the Philippines by fear of who knows what.

Palawan in itself is simply the best thing I've seen. Manila is quite a cool city. Cebu was quite something too. Bohol's chocolat hills were quite impressive too. Anyway, it beats anything I've seen in south east asia and that includes (thailand, vietnam, malaysia, singapore, indonesia)

Philippines: Pearl of the Orient

the Philippines is indeed a paradise for everyone. It offers a lot from beautiful sceneries, diverse culture and friendly people. I guess, people around the globe is not aware of this "Pearl of the Orient" archipelago simply because it lacks advertisement bout its beauty.
