Travel Trailer, RV Camping - Adding Wheels To Adventure Travel

by Relda Engelmann
(Starkville, Ms USA)

Life is best lived on the campground. We LOVE camping and the outdoor life. If you know nothing about camping, I hope you will be inspired to go and if you are an avid camper, I hope you continue on with your journey in your life outdoors. So, what is camping? Camping is getting to know the other side of life - the one called adventure travel. If you love to travel and get out in the open, observe nature, enjoy fresh air, meet some of the nicest people and get away from your day to day routine, then camping is for you. We even created a website: www.travel-trailer-rvcamping.com to inspire others to join our camping family.

Let's look at some exciting things you can do while camping. What about fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, bicycling, photography, family time, water sports, grilling and relaxation? Add some hammock naps, campfire smores, nature trails, wildlife and new friends and you have the perfect recipe for excitement.

Camping can be an adventure anywhere you want to go. You can pull your RV, use tents or just be in the open. We started out in a tent, moved up to a pop-up camper and now a travel trailer. The tents were fun and our children grew up in the tents. The older we got the more difficult it was to get off the ground and function. So, we moved up to a pop-up camper. Boy, those things are nice. We had luxuries beyond our wildest dreams. Running water, refrigerator, hot water, showers, toilet, TV, air conditioning and an awning! Now that was camping. Our children have all gone from home and we now have grandchildren. Two of them have enjoyed pop-up camping. With the space saved from tent camping, we loaded 4 bicycles and a wagon. The four of us were comfortable in that pop-up. Now we have 7 grandchildren and had to move up to a travel trailer. By the way, a travel trailer does not have to fold down and you can pack it with everything you will need and not have to take it out when you get back home. You can load bicycles, wagons, coolers, rafts, fishing poles and whatever recreational stuff you will need right in the travel trailer and take it with you. Lots of storage space is a definite plus!

The memories we have made as a family of 3 generations are priceless. All our children still talk about their camping adventures when they were younger and our oldest 2 grandchildren talk about the fun they have. No one can take those precious times from us. If you are looking for good, clean fun for your family, go RVing. You can start today. There are so many campgrounds around the United States just waiting for you to visit. I am looking forward to retirement so I can go camping whenever I want to instead of just on weekends or holidays. Hope to see you there!

Happy Camping,
Ronnie and Relda
