Yes, that sixteenth century VAT really looks like a very big temptation. April is not the best time to visit West Ukraine. It will still be pretty cold there. That picture was sent to me by our Ukrainian guide Valery Shevchenko who has lived in West Ukraine.
If you would like to have the first hand information about that area , I would recommend you to visit Valery's page at Ukraine-travel-advisor site. (see second link at the bottom of this page.) It has direct link to the main site. On that main site Valery's page (West Ukraine Tour Guide) is under the navigation bar button "Ukraine tour guides".
Good luck on your new adventure travel!

Excellent post by: John Smith
Since my childhood days, I am crazy about traveling as my father is a person who is always planning some new tours to some new destinations. Today suddenly I reached your blog and I read the post "Ukraine Adventure Travel" with the picture of taking bath in the sixteenth century VAT. I have started thinking to visit Ukraine and take a bath in the VAT just like the person in the picture. Could you please tell me if I visit the place in the mid of April, what kind of climate will be there?
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience in your blog.

An unexpected adventure travel destination by: Patrick
Great article about an unexpected destination. Sounds like this is one of those places on the globe which is still unspoiled by many visitors, although there is much to see and do for those not scared for an adventure!!
