Do you recognize the Sloth?

Nicaragua is a country with great places for adventure travel and exciting holidays.

Most volcanoes are apt for hiking and exploring their nature with rewarding lookouts to unforgettable landscapes.

The volcanic island of Ometepe is also an ideal place for wonderful biking with great sceneries and cultural life.

Experience a zip line adventure on cloud forest volcanoes and glide over large fields of coffee plantations !!

Kayaking through the water canals formed by the hundreds of little volcanic islands and watch birds flying around is also a wonderful experience not to skip.

Surfing is also picking up and it is mostly practiced on the south Pacific Coast of Nicaragua.

Scuba diving and snorkeling is generally done on the Caribbean islands of big corn and little corn island. Nicaragua is adventure and it has the perfect spots for you to carry your most ambitious traveling activities.

Living in Nicaragua
by: David

My wife and I lived in Jinotepe, Nicaragua, for one year and spent quite a bit of time also in Casares and La Boquita on the Pacific Coast.

We enjoyed the people, the climate in Jinotepe, the food, and the country.

Very good surfing at beaches north of San Juan del Sur.

Good prices ($130 a month for 3 bdrm 3 bath), and even though 3rd world construction, it was a good deal.
